Glamox A60
With Ole-Kristian Bjerke
The A60 was the Glamox’ first attempt at an armature with full focus on aesthetics. Instead of the task lights they specialize in, this was meant for office lounge areas or similar settings. Interviews with interior decorators pointed at a desire for non-geometrical shapes, and after a very long concept phase we created a lamp in three versions with increasing size as well as level of irregularity. The armature consists of a vacuum formed plastic reflector and a powder coated steel plate covering the light source, attached with magnets.
