  NASA plans to land on the moon again around 2020, and this time the astronauts will spend a lot more time outside the lander or habitat. Because of this, they will need a way to navigate.
 Since lunar GPS is extremely expensive, and the moon lacks a magnetic field, Tycho uses the stars to calculate its position.
